I am asking for your continued support as AFT director from South Area. If reelected, I will continue to push for increased teacher involvement and decision making in local school instructional, health and safety policies.

I bring the experiences of having worked closely with school/community organizations. Working as a collaborative organizer with community organizations like CEJ, CADRE, PEAC, One-LA, MORE-LA and Tri-National parent/community/teacher coalitions, I have seen the importance of building relationships with other educational forces to build power.

If reelected, I will continue to promote strong and responsive two-way communication between elected union leaders and the membership that makes us strong.
